In Airship City, players incarnate a flying ships' fleet captain. They have to gather the skies' resources and harness the weather in order to make its fleet grow bigger... while maintaining it airborne, or ships will fall down with everything on their board!
As the mind behind the concept, I'm developping it on my free time with an expected release in 2026. The goal is to make an approachable and poetic city building game targeting players scared by the genre's apparent complexity, while still bringing a few original and interesting twists giving enough depth for anyone to enjoy.
- The project started as my master degree's graduation project with a team of 4 people, that have split after having delivered a first prototype and graduated. Since then, the project has been rebooted from the ground up, taking into account collected feedback on the prototype while removing previously school-related constraints.
- I'm developing a lot of tools to simplify the game content integration: e.g., from a single line in an Excel sheet, a single click allows to generate a ready-to-use prefab for any game component (ship, building, biome, weather...) before adding it to any related system.
